Summary: Fantastic
Comment: These books are a must read for people of all ages. These books are an excellent way, especially for children, to introduce or become introduced to the ideas Christianity. In addition to that, they are excellent sources of entertainment. They are very fun to read and once you pick them up you will probably find them very hard to put down. Wonderful books to read for yourself or fantastic to give as gifts. There aren't enough good things I can say about these books.

Summary: First time reading through
Comment: Yes, this is my first time reading through the chronicles of Narnia. This book was very exciting. Every page after page, I felt if I was really there from the first to the last page of the book. This is one of the most exciting books that I have ever read. I would encourge all of the adults plus children to read because you don't have to be young to enjoy this book you can be old as a parent or a grand parent and still feel excited about reading a novel like this.
It comes to my attention that this book is not in the order that the author has wrote it in but I have to say it makes an excitable story to read. This would make perfect birthday/christmas presnt for anyone who loves to read.

Comment: To maintain the integrity of this rating system, Amazon would need to create a category above the best. I'm glad that Hollywood (Disney no less!) made the Narnia movies, because it gave me the incentive to read what I had dismissed as a series of books written for children.
No more. The picture Lewis weaves of God, of Creation, of Jesus Christ, of sinful man and nature, of redeemed man and nature, of deep things of the soul, heart, and mind, may be the most brilliant jewel of human creativity I have yet experienced. The love of God for his creation, and the fearsome and awesome power and perfection of God is so vividly illustrated by Lewis, it made me weep with joy and sorrow.

Summary: Cs Lewis Chronicles of narnia
Comment: This is a very interessing book, very imaginative, and amusing. One of my grand children read it, was delighted, and spoke to me about it. So I read too the seven books included in " The complete Chronicles of Narnia" and enjoyed it . C S Lewis was a very learned person, was interessed in the myths which he mastered, so an adult may read Narnia at two levels. For me the best of the seven books is the first book" The magician' nephew".
