Customer Rating: Summary: Eclipse (The Twilight Saga, Nook 3) Comment: Great book! Once you start reading, it's hard to put it down. Can't wait to read book 4!
Customer Rating: Summary: I ultimately enjoyed this one but.... Comment: I'm just sick and tired of how weak and inept Bella is. I guess I just don't like her. She's whiney and selfish. And I too just love the Jake character and can't believe she's fallen for the manipulative control freak. I'd rather have a character who stands up for herself and controls her own destiny without having to be the stereotypical 'damsel in distress' who always has to be 'saved' from evil. Get a backbone and save yourself for crying out loud.
Customer Rating: Summary: Eclipse Special Edition (Twlight Saga) Comment: Eclipse is the most exciting book out of the Twlight Saga. I've re-read the last 200 pages over and over and still can't get enough! Most romantic love triangle ever!!
Customer Rating: Summary: A guilty pleasure Comment: I am too old to be reading these books really. I won't tell you that the writing in these novels is especially challenging to read, or has a ring of poetry or genius. The characters presented in these books are about as three dimensional as most high school students. So why do I like these books? Perhaps it is because Bella reminds me of myself when I was 14 years old. She is so irrationally in love, selfish, and immature, even though she almost always tries to do what she feels is the right thing. The stories are not complex, but they are quick, action packed, and each chapter ends in a cliffhanger of sorts. In addition, the books often had me laughing and/or worrying about the characters.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Comment: I really loved Eclipse. It was full of drama and tension. Critical decisions that were made on a whim in earlier books are actually thought through in Eclipse. Bella makes really tough, life-altering choices. I sympathized with her where most people criticized her. It was not easy to be in her position and I know a little of what that is like. So I found it realistic and essential to her growing up and doing the right thing for the right reasons. I felt like she really matured and got a handle on her emotions...although it wasn't easy. We forget that she is young and facing life and death on a daily basis. I am extremely exited for Breaking Dawn and hopeful there will be a happy ending.

Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?
