Customer Rating: Summary: An interesting read Comment: For those exploring topics of reincarnation, the afterlife, regression therapy, and the like, this book offers another vantage point for consideration. The ideas were new to me and offer another source of insight into how hypnosis and related techniques can help a person deal with stresses/crises that he/she is facing--and help him or her make choices that may lead to a happier, richer life.
Customer Rating: Summary: Same Over-soul - Many Learning Opportunities! Comment: Love from Both Sides: A True Story of Soul Survival and Sacred SexualityThat's my book there, and I reference it because I'm a writer and working hypnotherapist. I read "Same Soul, Many Bodies," after taking Brian's week-long professional training workshop, where he led a group through this powerful process, so I must admit my perspective is different, and not unprejudiced. When I got back to LA, I immediately used what I'd learned on a client whom I'd been seeing for a while. A successful business owner, married for 35 years, he'd grown angry at his wife's inability to shed the 70 pounds she insisted on carrying on her body. My feeling was that he wanted permission to be free of his marriage. When we did the forward progression, he saw himself in 3047, looking down at his own tiny bare feet because he was 7 years old. I said, "Describe what you see." And he saw beautiful tall glass buildings, surrounded by gorgeous gardens -- such a place of beauty. When I asked him to find his mother he said, "I don't need my mother. We are all one." Meaning he was safe and protected. Later on in the progression, he saw himself as a healer -- an energy healer, and then I asked him to find his wife and family. And started to weep, and said, "Oh, it's Marty (his wife now), as she wants to be!" I think he fell in love again, because before he even left my office, he called his wife to tell her what had happened. So that progression helped him focus on the love he felt in the "now." In Brian's wonderful book, he gives many other examples of similar situations, and if you're interested in this kind work, this is great book to read! If you're interested in doing this work, take his workshop. It's so fun!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not his best.... Comment: I love Brian Weiss - he has provided me with great insight and helped heal me through a devastating situation. BUT if you are going to read him - I STRONGLY suggest MESSAGES THROUGH THE MASTERS. That one, by far, is his greatest...I've given it as gifts to others going through tough times and it helped them so much, that they too, have given it as a gift. As for "Same Soul Many Bodies" - I've been reading it for over a year and can't get through it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Same Soul, Many Bodies Comment: Loved this book, found it very interesting and confirms to me that there is more to our lives than where we are now. Would recommend it to people willing to grow spiritually.
Customer Rating: Summary: New Insight Comment: This book was excellent. It gave me a new insight and started me wondering about those deja vous experiences we have. I loved it and passed it on to family and friends to read also.

The bestselling author of Many Lives, Many Masters breaks new ground to reveal how progression therapy into future lives can help transform us in the present. How often have you wished you could peer into the future? In Same Soul, Many Bodies, Brian L. Weiss, M.D., shows us how. Through envisioning our lives to come, we can influence their outcome and use this process to bring more joy and healing to our present lives. Dr. Weiss pioneered regression therapy -- guiding people through their past lives. Here, he goes beyond that to demonstrate the therapeutic benefits of progression therapy -- guiding people through the future in a scientific, responsible, healing way. Through dozens of case histories detailing both past-life and future-life experiences, Dr. Weiss shows how the choices that we make now will determine our future quality of life. From Samantha, who overcame academic failure once she learned of her future as a great physician, to Evelyn, whose fears and prejudices ended after she envisioned prior and forthcoming lives as a hate victim, Dr. Weiss gives concrete examples of lives transformed by regression and progression therapy. A groundbreaking work, Same Soul, Many Bodies is sure to deeply affect peoples' lives as they strive toward their future.
