Summary: No more bloody stuffy nose
Comment: I was desperate to buy a humidifier as my baby's nose was bleeding due to the summer weather and I guess closed bedroom conditions. Checked the customer reviews and price wasn't that bad. I am quite happy with my purchase. This humidifier does its job!!! With its sound, we are not so bothered. Actually it does good - cutting/minimizing unwanted sound from the neighborhood apartments. Also helps when you want to sleep when your family members are watching TV in the other room or on the phone. I fill water every 3 days and I just clean clean with the running tap water. Anyone can advise me on how to clean, replace filters etc. Overall, it does humidify our bedroom and no more bloody nose!!!

Comment: I know that a humidifier is for winter when the heat is on. However, I have had a congested head for 2 months. This humidifier is great. It really helps me sleep at night.

Summary: Pain to clean
Comment: While the machine can be helpful in increasing/ maintaining humidity levels, I have found it to be a hassle. It needs to be cleaned regularly because of the risk that standing water can be a source of bacteria/ mold/ problems. This technology should be a commodity - and there are plenty of cool mist humidifier options. So if you are looking for one, I would recommend getting one that is designed to be very easy to clean.

I've had this particular humidifier for approximately a year now, and I have to say overall that it does a pretty darn good job. It has been reliable and I can definitely tell the difference in humidity in the room when it's operating.
There are a couple of "buts" that a prospective buyer should be aware of:
First, if you don't correctly and firmly re-seat the reservoir in the base, you're going to have water everywhere. Both my wife and I have inadvertently created a puddle of water on the counter and floor simply by putting the darn thing in crooked. Kind of a design flaw in my opinion, but in the long term, not anything that would make me hesitant to recommend this product.
The second thing to know is that the filters for this unit (which are about $5 apiece) don't last more than 2 weeks during daily use. I'm sure it's good that they don't last forever, and based on the discoloration on them it's pretty clear they're doing their job, but be aware that this will be an ongoing expense when using this product.
All in all, a pretty nice unit, albeit with the caveats listed above!
