Summary: Best of its kind
Comment: This is really the best of the best as far as I am concerned. I have used many different kinds of blue tooth headset devices and this has the best sound communication capabilities. The sound is never "tinny" and this is only device for which I never get a "are you calling from your car?" or similar comment when using it while driving. The people on the other end cannot tell if I am in the office, my car or somewhere else(if they think about it). In addition its battery allows it go on for hours and hours--long after my phone needs recharging.
However, I find they do wear out. The red charging and off light goes after a few months of heavy use (the blue tooth device itself still works-it's just harder to use). I am sure that that is covered under warranty but who wants that hassle.

Summary: Excellent value for the money
Comment: This is a solid product that provides clear reception with excellent voice pick-up capability. I've tried "top-rated" bluetooth headsets from three other manufacturers and they all were disappointments in terms of their performance. Trust me, you won't regret going with this headset.
The only thing lacking is that you don't have the capability to switch from one call to another with the headset button - you have to use the talk button on your cell phone to switch between calls which for me is a minor issue.

Summary: 3rd bluetooth--Still not happy!!!
Comment: First I tried Jabra.. awful sound on my end and the people I talked to.. I had several complaints! And the earpiece hurt!!! So then I went with the Motorola H710 after reading rave reviews on cnet.. This one is very comfortable and stylish looking, and the sound quality on my end was perfect!! However.. the same problem when talking to people.. several complaints that I sounded like I was in a tunnel of muffled.
Now about the Plantronics 510.. Of course at this point I was praying that I would fall in love so my search would finally be over for the perfect bluetooth.. I was very disappointed!!! The sound quality is not as clear on my end as Motorola.. and I was told I sound the worst out of all 3 sets I tried. I also got disconnected twice in 1 day and heard more static than with any other.
I dont understand why the comments on here voted this as the best bluetooth set out there!! I have read a ton of reviews. I am at my wits end with bluetooth sets. I do still want to find the perfect set.. I talk on the phone a lot, especially when I am driving.
Hope this helps someone.. and please email me if you have found the perfect headset LOL! I am planning on trying the Jawbone next.. please cross your fingers for me!! :)

Summary: sound quality not as suggested
Comment: I bought this unit after reading many positive reviews, and thus hoped for a positive experience. However, the most honest critiques come from my wife, and she said that I sounded muffled and "like I was talking in the bottom of a barrel". Unfortunately, I had to return the product. I've also tried Bluetooth from Motorola and received the same critique from my wife. I'm beginning to think that Bluetooth has a long way to go before it has the same quality as wired headsets. I don't like getting tangled up in wires, but I also want my callers to be able to understand me. The wait continues for a proper bluetooth device. (I own a Blackberry 8800 device, by the way.)
