Customer Rating: Summary: Got a better deal than I thought -love the player Comment: This is my first mp3 player. I didn't want an Ipod and wasn't sure about spending tons of money for a zune or creative zen. This player is absolutely wonderful. It's very easy to use and I have no problems using the dial or the buttons. I've never had bud headphones before and they do take a little getting used to. They really block outside noises and with these, I only have to turn on the volume to get very good sound. The coverings are NOT plastic but very sturdy metal with an easy to read screen.
According to the specs, this player can only use up to a 2GB micro sd card. Well that is for the 1st generation player. Mine actually came as a V2 player. You can tell the version by check for a V2 logo on the very back, lower right of the player's case. The firmware version (go to info under settings) shows as V03.x. Because of these specs, I found out my player supports the high capacity micro sd cards up to 8GB!! I ordered a card and can't wait to use it.
The FM radio works really well. At work I couldn't catch all my stations if I preset them there, so I did the presets at home and then at work it wasn't a problem.
On the downside you can only store music on the expansion card, no video nor photos. Your music playlists can only be stored on the internal memory, not the expansion card. To store photos or videos on the player, they first must be converted using Sandisk's software you can get for free at their site. I haven't tried it yet as I'm more interested in using it for music. For power, it only come with the usb to player cable, no a/c charger. A/C and car chargers can be gotten at other places.
For my first player, I think I did great and for under 50 (after a gc discount), I'm really happy with it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fit my needs for less than $50. Comment: In fist place, it's what I was looking for, small, weightless, and cheap.
Although with just 2GB, of internal Mem, you can expand to 16GB with a tiny microSD Mem.
Great sound and wonderful friendly menu.
Customer Rating: Summary: great MP3 player Comment: This is the second player I've bought; my son so much liked the one I got for his sister last year that he wanted one, too. I haven't had any problems with either one, and the kids take them with them everywhere. I did buy a regular wall charger for them though, so we didn't have to charge them through the USB cable. I don't care for the earphones too much either, I think they are too big, but the kids say they are fine for them.
Customer Rating: Summary: miester Comment: Works very well, videos aren't difficult to convert with the Sansa software
and battery last a long time.Get a AC to usb convertor which are cheap if you want to charge it without a computer.Menu is easy to navigate and equalizer has plenty of options.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sansa E250 Player Comment: I would rate this MP3 player higher if it wasn't for the software I use to play and download my music. Rhapsody needs to get their act together or folks will go somewhere else for a good quality MP3 player. Nice compact size, nice graphics, and the sound quality is excellent. I got a very good value from Amazon.com and was able to purchase one for me and one for my wife. The thumbwheel is intuitive and very easy to use, and the blue blacklight makes it very cool. I guess when I become a MP3holic I will upgrade to mthe 8MB player but only if Rhapsody does better in their software and support.
