Summary: Great Toy
Comment: This is the second "Moon in my Room" for our house. Purchased this one after my little one tossed the original remote down the stairs and it broke. The replacement remote w/ shipping cost almost as much as another moon so we purchased another moon kit and use the 1 remote for both moons. Now both kids have one and they LOVE it!

Comment: Bought this for my son's b-day and it worked great for 4 months. When the lights stopped working and I had replaced batteries in both the moon and the remote twice I called Fat Brain Toys, through whom I purchased it, and then Uncle Milton. Niether company was responsive nor gave any help. Only if it was within 90 days of purchase, so they say. So if you want a toy that works for 4 months and then leaves your child disappointed - this is it!

Comment: This is a great educational toy. The audio cd that comes with the moon is very informational yet short so the kids don't get bored with facts. The moon can change in to all the different phases with a remote - which in itself is a huge hit with my 5 year old! It also works great as a timed night light!

Summary: I Love it......however....
Comment: I love this product however......it seems to burn up batteries like crazy
all of the sudden. The price is a little high too! I'm sure this product could be sold cheaper. That being said....we really love it. My little girl plays with it alot. I just wish the batteries didn't burn up so quickly. It seems really bad lately and she's playing with it less so it doesn't make any sense.

Summary: My moon-My room!
Comment: Very cool night light for my 5 year old son. Fun to use, fun to watch. He turns it on every night. He looks out his window to see what phase the real moon is in to set Moon in My Room to look the same. If he can't see it then he goes to his calendar to check.

Instruction manual does not clearly define the functions of which buttons do what but you'll figure it out pretty quick.
I recommend this product even with the confusing remote control button descriptions. We enjoy it very much!
