Comment: I love this stuff... it does not give me gas like psyllium (Metamucil) fiber pills alone do. It is easy to swallow and cannot expand as easily in the throat like Metamucil capsules and create a choking hazard; just take a 2-4 of the small tabs with a glass of water. Since it contains orange, apple, prune and oat bran fiber in addition to the psyllium it is a balanced supplement, similar to what Brenda Watson recommends in Sprinkle Fiber - Fiber35 Diet system supplement. That one contains acacia fiber, but she has only large sweet chewable tablets of it available. Summary: Easy way to get soluble and insoluble fiber
Comment: After I found that I had diverticuloses, I searched for ways to increase my fiber intake. I have modified my diet somewhat, and now I take 3-6 of these fiber pills every day. It's hard to find supplements that contain both soluble and insoluble fiber, but this does, in a 50-50 ratio. Easy to swallow. You don't chew these. I prefer simply swallowing instead of a chewable. I have noticed a difference. Great stuff.
