Summary: 4 stars only because...
Comment: Because of the temple of the ocean king this game lost a star. Everything else is fun...but the temple is really difficult and stressful (you are timed). DO NOT turn off you DS in the temple, because even when you save the game you have to restart the temple. Everything else is great, controls are easy, and graphics are wonderful. Yeah, I reccomend this game to people who enjoy Rp.

Summary: Addicting
Comment: Last time I played Zelda was on a Nintendo you hook up to a television 20 yrs ago. This DS version was a great entertainment. I got hooked instantly, and spent sleepless hours playing the game until the wee hours of the morning.

Amazing graphics/animation, and the battery lasts a very long time before needing to recharge. After I was done, I let my 5 yr old niece borrow it, and she's been at it endlessly for the last several days. It goes to show that it appeals to all ages from a child to an adult.

Summary: Very fun game in the Zelda series
Comment: If you have ever played a Zelda game and enjoyed it, then I am sure you will enjoy The Phantom Hourglass. Touch screen controls take a little while to get used to, but once you do you'll find that they work very well and are fun to use. The graphics are very well done and don't effect the framerate or amount of content in the game.

The only major complaint may be sailing is very tedious and the backtracking many times to this certain temple may get very old.

Overall, still a very fun game

Summary: Best DS Game so far
Comment: I've played through this game twice already, and keep getting amazed at the level of detail that Nintendo has put in the game. While hard-core fans might find the difficulty levels much lower than other Zelda games, the puzzles, the adventure, and the quests are still there. I loved it.

Summary: If you're looking for a perfect DS game, you've found it...
Comment: I bought this game on a whim, i do not follow the Zelda series and the last time i touched a zelda game was for the NES and i was about 6 years old so i hardly remember that game even. But this game is down right awesome, just spectacular and should be in every DS owner's library. It uses full advantage of the stylus, the controls are easy to learn, the puzzles are fun and challenging (but not to the point of frustration), the graphics are good, and after almost finishing the game (I'm at the end boss now) i can say that i was fully satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it to any DS owner. I really wish there were more games like this for the DS because i'm learning that although the DS is a fantastic system, there are a TON of awful games for it and i have yet to find one as good as this... i can only hope that a sequel comes out... quickly!

GREAT GAME!

Editorial Reviews:

The epic story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker continues as Link finds himself lost in a new adventure. Link and Tetra, the leader of a band of pirates, discover a ghost ship in dense fog. Link falls into the ocean when Tetra gets into trouble, and he wakes up alone on the shore of a mysterious island. Throughout the game, Link collects sand for his Phantom Hourglass, which allows him to explore deeper and deeper into a time-limited dungeon in his quest to find Tetra. Featuring intuitive touch-screen controls and innovative puzzles, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass offers new challenges for fans of the series and an easy-to-grasp introduction for gamers new to The Legend of Zelda. The robust single-player adventure will have Zelda veterans and newcomers alike engrossed by the story as they move through the game with the stylus. A special two-player battle mode lets players connect locally or via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. One player controls Link as he tries to gather as many Force Gems as possible, while the other player manages the enemies who pursue Link. The replayability of these winner-take-all matches is virtually endless.
