Summary: My husband loves them
Comment: So what if they are for women, my husband won't take horse pills (or other swallowing type vitamins but he loves chocolates so this works for us! I figure giving him these is better than the alternative of nothing. One comment though, compared to the Viactiv Vitamin D-K chocolate chews (which are delicious), these are very medicine-y tasting. I won't eat them myself because of that.

Summary: A pleasant way to get your calcium
Comment: These were recommended to me by my GYN as I'm not yet 40 and showing signs of perimenopause.
While tasty (like a slightly chalkier Tootsie Roll) they do upset my stomach if not taken right after a meal. I also have a gastrointestinal disease that may contribute to this upset, so this may be specific to me.
Overall, much more pleasant than taking Tums and something to look forward to after a meal that gives you stronger bones!

Summary: Perfect for Women, Those Trying to Lose Weight, Who Hate Pills
Comment: Another lifesaver from Viactive! These chocolate calcium chews taste exactly like Tootsie Rolls, so you feel more like you're snacking instead of eating a calcium supplement. There are a few other flavors that look positively delicious, but I've only tried the chocolate.
Since it's been shown that Calcium boosts the digestive system and aids women in steady, productive weight loss, these chews are a must-have for women losing weight. Just through my own personal experimentation, I've noticed I lose 2-3 pounds a week on Weight Watchers while taking Calcium supplements, but lose a pound or less a week when I'm not. This is a trend noticed by all of my girlfriends who're losing weight. On top of that, I notice that when I take my supplements before lunch and dinner, it acts as an appetite suppressant, and I feel less hungry.

The only thing that people should know, especially women, is that when you get your suggested RDA of calcium, it tends to leave you constipated in few days. Make sure to offset the constipation by increasing fiber or checking out a fiber supplement like BeneFiber.
