Summary: Very pleased with this purchase
Comment: I decided on this magnifyer after reading the revies and I'm very happy with it. The magnifications is crystal clear. The light disperses really well and for the money it's a terrific value, especially since you get two. Includes a handy case and fits comfortably in any shirt pocket. The ONLY drawback is that I would like it to be a little larger but honestly, that's not too big of a deal considering all the other attributes.

Comment: The LED has sufficient light and is focused on the magnification area(s). Press on/off switch lightly and light goes off when you release. Press firmly to turn on/off as a switch. The switch is positioned so it will not get turned on easily by accident, yet is easy to use.
Magnification is good quality, though it would be nicer if it were rectangular for reading menus. The circular magnifier is impressive for examining slivers or a contact lens.
The package contained 2, each with a black vinyl case which protects the lens and switch while adding little to the size or weight.
I'm impressed with the quality of this product for the small cost.

you can not beat it for reading restaurant menus in the dim light
that most restaurants have these days. the rest of the customers
must have 20/20 eyesight and be able to see in the dark.
everyone over 70 should have one, i do.

Comment: While searching for a magnifying glass I stumbled upon these card magnifiers and I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad that I did. I agree with the other reviews, and I have to say I'm impressed by how sturdy they are, as well as the fact that they each come with a protective sleeve. I love that there are two in the pack - one for my purse and one for my nightstand. Very bright, very handy. In fact, I've even had strangers ask me where they could get one... that's how cool they are.

Summary: A splendid little reading helper
Comment: I purchased these LED magnifiers primarily to help me read the small print of the Oxford English Dictionary. Before buying these, I was holding a large magnifying glass over each OED page for lengthy periods of time and watching myself develop Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Unsatisfactory, to say the least. These LED magnifiers lay flat on the page and magnify 2X over the larger area with a smaller 6X area for tougher print. What makes the Fulcrum so nice to use is the strong illumination provided by the battery powered (it comes with the batteries) LED. It makes all the difference between squinting to see and reading with ease. I've used it for several hours now and the illumination is still bright. Batteries are standard and easily replaced. This is a nice little niche product which I find easy to strongly recommend. The price, especially if you buy the 2-Pack, is self recommending. My one desire is to see stronger magnification (perhaps 3X and 9X) in a similar product design. There's alot of small print out there!
