Summary: Excellent Product!!!
Comment: This item works great. An excellent addition to my phone. You can use the software that came with it, or download BitPim software for free from the web and use it. Why buy the expensive software from the oem, when this works flawleesly. My pc reconized the unit almost immedietly, and off I went. I would highly recomend this item.

Summary: Cable works, but software doesn't work with SHINE
Comment: This cable works fine- it's a basic USB cable to plug your cell phone to your computer. It has a long list of compatable devices, one of which is the LG Shine. Indeed, the plug FITS the Shine, but the Shine is not supported by the software provided. Nor does it seem to be recognized using any other software I could find online.
The only way I could get it to work is to buy a micro sd card. Then when the cable is connected to the USB port the phone comes up as a USB storage device. The trick now will be to get all the photos that are stored in the phone moved to the micro sd card. It appears to only work ONE AT A TIME!
What was LG thinking?? The Shine has a Kick-A$$ camera and no easy way to get them off the phone...

Summary: Piece of junk...
Comment: I got this cable to work with my cu720 shine I just got. The driver cd doesn't have one for my phone, and the cable was such a tight fit, when i plugged it in it got jammed and I had to rip the metal clip out with my teeth. Now it sits in there loose and kinda sees whats going on but locks my computer up...don't get this package it isn't that nice.
