Summary: Fantastic Allergy Medicine
Comment: Zyrtec is, without question, the best allergy medicine that I have ever taken. It's a 24 hour magic little pill that zaps allergies far better than the others (Clairitn, Allegra, etc.) After taking Claritin for about 10 years, I finally had to recognize it wasn't working anymore, so I went in search of something stronger. This was back in the day when everything except Claritin was still a prescription, and I wound up trying both Zyrtec and Allegra. From the first few doses of Zyrtec, I knew this was good stuff, and that it would be my allergy medicine. I've been with Zyrtec ever since. When I heard it was going over the counter I was a bit worried it might be weaker, but I've had no problems with that. As for side-effects, I have none. I know some people who take Zyrtec have some drowsiness issues, but at least because this is 24-hr effective it can be taken right before bed. I do find that Zyrtec is much more effective at dealing with outdoor allergies than indoor ones; I find it particularly weak in dealing with pet dander. Overall, though, I am very pleased with Zyrtec and it is a regular part of my allergy repertoire.

Comment: I have suffered from allergies for many years and they have gradually gotten worse. Indoor allergies are what I struggle with the most, such as dust, pet dander, and different scents. Working with the public sure was a challenge, because of the different perfumes and colognes people would wear. How embarrassing to be sitting there, constantly sneezing until they walk away!
Zyrtec is the ONLY allergy medication to help me! This is the best I have found to help with indoor allergies. I am so grateful they made this to be over-the-counter! ZYRTEC IS #1 in my book!

Summary: Works for me, no more Claritin...
Comment: Been taking this magical pill for the last 30 days, works like a charm, now I am back to myself. It seems it works best when taking at bedtime, no more non-working Claritin for me. Kudos to FDA for releasing this pill as non-prescription starting this year.

Comment: I tried all of the non-drowsy antihistamines on the market a few years ago without any success until I tried Zyrtec. I have seasonal allergies and this medicine was a godsend for me. I get relief from the sneezing and watery eyes related to allergies. My prescription co-pay was $30 for 30 pills and now I can get 45 for less than $30. The nice thing about the OTC Zyrtec is that it is full prescription strength. I you suffer from allergies and don't want to get drowsy, Zyrtec is the perfect solution.

Comment: Zyrtec 10 mg tablets are truly a godsend! I suffer from allergies almost year round; and when I take a Zyrtec pill things calm down pretty quickly. I am soon able to breathe through my nose and my eyes aren't so irritated. In addition, Zyrtec is absolutely essential for me; I sometimes play with my neighbor's dogs but because I am still mildly allergic to the dogs' pet dander and fur I use these Zyrtec pills to alleviate my symptoms from playing with the dogs.
The tablets work for just about twenty-four hours just like the makers advertise it to work; but if things aren't quite OK even with the Zyrtec I sometimes pop another--with my doctor's "OK," that is. This drug does not make me drowsy the way other allergy medicines can; and I really like that.
Zyrtec is also supposed to stop the itching that comes with hives; but I can't comment on that because I have not needed to take this for hives. I also don't experience itchy eyes but I would imagine that this product would alleviate that problem.
Of course, follow the directions on the bottle very carefully; and don't take more than the recommended dose unless you get the "OK" from your doctor. If you have any questions or concerns about this product ask your doctor first before taking this medicine. In addition, use these tablets before their expiration date.
Overall, Zyrtec tablets really help immeasurably when I need to fight allergy symptoms from pet fur and dander, dust, or pollen. I highly recommend this product!
