Summary: Looks different but works the same
Comment: This generic omeprazole is manufactured in India by Omega Biotech Ltd. It is packaged in unboxed foil sheets. The transparent capsule form differs from the opaque tablet forms of Prilosec and the generic available from Costco. However the seller claims the active ingredients are the same, and I believe it because this product works the same for me as Prilosec and the Costco generic. Also this product's foil packaging is much easier to open than the others. Last but not least, this product is much more inexpensive. I plan to buy more of this product.

Summary: Affordable Acid Reflux Relief
Comment: I was at first sceptical due to the frugal packaging of the product and by the fact that it was produced in India. It shipped as foil blister packs of ten(10)capsules each. No box...just a rubber-band and a manila envelope. Believe it or not I get as good relief with this product as I did with any other generic Omeprazole but at a fraction of the price of the "real" product, and at least 1/2 the the cost of the over the counter Omeprazole products. A great buy!!!

Comment: I have used generic omeprazole from abroad before and been satisfied. This product is either not omeprazole, or else it is in a form that is ineffective. It did not stop my reflex, even when taken in double doses.

Comment: Yes, this is generic Omeprazole in capsule form. It is manufactured in India, and that is why it is so inexpensive. You can't have the fancy box and pretty pills for this price. I've been taking these for two months and they work. Getting the caps out of the foil packaging is easier than peeling the Prilosec tabs out of those diabolical blister cards.
The bottom line is, this generic product works, and it's way cheaper than Prilosec.

Comment: Omeprazole is a great generic drug. It relieves gastric reflux almost as well as the original drug. I would recommend it especially if your difficulty is not severe.
